The starts are staggered to allow competitors to finish in the same window late Sunday morning. This will allow newer athletes to enjoy similar experiences as world-class competitors. The added benefit is a consolidated window for media coverage – providing additional exposure for sponsors and the sport of orienteering. The timing will also support Sunday night news reporting.

* 12-in-24 hour competitors receive maps 2 hours before committed start time.

The awards ceremony will be held at race headquarters – the CSP Game Lodge Group Campground. Participants young and old will be recognized and awards to the top finishers in each class. The dinner will pulled buffalo in mushroom onion au jus, potato salad, cole slaw, and baked beans for a nice western theme.
