The starts are staggered to allow competitors to finish in the same window late Sunday morning. This will allow newer athletes to enjoy similar experiences as world-class competitors. The added benefit is a consolidated window for media coverage – providing additional exposure for sponsors and the sport of orienteering. The timing will also support Sunday night news reporting.

* 12-in-24 hour competitors receive maps 2 hours before committed start time.

The awards ceremony will be held at race headquarters – the Stockade Lake Group Area. After the meal, participants young and old will be recognized and awards to the top finishers in each class. Sponsor goodies will again be presented to participants so everyone goes home a winner.
